For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...
Mark 10:45
Psalmist says, “Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere”. There are so many believers of our church who love to spend time in the presence of the Lord. They attend both the services and also serve the Lord as an Usher during services. The Usher Ministry makes sure that the entire congregation is seated comfortably and helps in any possible way during service times. The new guests are welcomed well and are made to feel warm during services.
Serve in our Ministry
Use your unique gifts to help build the Kingdom.
Most of us know how essential volunteers are to making sure our churches are as effective as they need to be. Churches need to develop an ethos of valuing volunteers, but in order for churches to thrive, they would do best to raise up volunteers who are leaders and choose leaders who have been volunteers.
Volunteer FAQ
How do I volunteer?
Volunteering is a wonderful way to get plugged into your church, feel like part of a community, and serve Jesus at the same time. Volunteering has a spiritual benefit as well. By volunteering, an individual will often want to dive deeper into the life of the church. At the same time, they serve not only as a helping hand, but also as a witness of the Gospel message within the community.
What is Expected of me as a volunteer?
Expectations will vary from role to role, however you can rest assured there is a process in place to ensure that you are equipped and trained. Every role has a team leader whose responsibility is to set you up to win. The most important thing you can do is to show up and be ready to go when you say you will. Good, open communication is the best method to ensure the serving opportunity is a good fit for both you and the ministry.
How do I volunteer For Events?
Whether you have one hour or ten hours to give, we have an opportunity that fits your availability. One-time events are ideal volunteer opportunities for those whose busy schedules don’t allow them to commit weekly. Christmas and Easter services tend to take more hands to pull together all the details, and numerous volunteers are needed.
